Located on Southwater Caye, a small and striated coconut and palm islet, Blue Marlin Lodge places you directly on the barrier reefline. You are just a few fin kicks to the crest of the barrier reef, many divers do just that. The resort also has a fleet of boats to drop you off and let you drift along the wall. All dives are drift because there are no permanent moorings along the reef. Nearly all sites are walls or are adjacent to the wall and you are most likely to see everything from eagle rays to dolphins, rock snapper and more. The staff at Blue Marlin Lodge is skilled and prepared to make your diving easy and enjoyable.
The guest list is small, with a total capacity of up to 32 guests at any given time. There are 9 cozy, cool and comfortable guest rooms, 3 spacious, air conditioned, domed cabins, 5 newly built, tropically decorated seaside cottages and 2 guest apartments.
The funky island bar at the clubhouse with the casually elegant dining area adjacent is where everyone hangs out. There are 3 meals daily and an afternoon snack. The menu uses the fresh seafood and local fruit to the best advantage. Lunches and dinners are family style. Breakfast is made to order and there is always a fresh pot of hot coffee on.

A 100 foot wooden minesweeper and the original floating restaurant and bar are just two of the featured wrecks off the shore of Tortola. The reef system is extensive and the walls plunging. Octopus, snake eels and eagle rays are all ready for their close up in this photographer's paradise.
Topside, ancient windmills, rum distilleries, and rainforests are fun alternatives to the underwater environment.
