good general diving with two wrecks. The Protea Banks dive is restricted to advenced divers only. Dives on Protea are deep,
in excess of 35 meters and there is nearly always a ripping current. Sharks you might encounter include Bull Sharks, Tigers and Hammerheads, although
there are no guarantees. Diving is best here Jan - May, Nov, & Dec.
11 Day / 10 Night Great Whites, Protea Banks, & Aliwal Shoal:
Includes 3 days of 5-hours of cage diving in "Kleinbaai Harbour" with the Great Whites and overnights at Grootbos Private Nature Reserve.
Then, transfer from Cape Town to Durban to enjoy 3 days of 2 daily dives on the reefs of Aliwal Shoal. Then enjoy 6 scheduled dives over 3 days on Protea Banks.
