Bohio Dive Resort Diving

There are more than two dozen scuba diving sites within the Columbus National Park on the west side of Grand Turk. Most of the sites are wall dives. The onsite dive shack has three small boats and each can hold up to 8 divers. Most of the dive sites are within 5-10 minutes from the beach front. At Bohio Dive Resort expect to do 2 tanks dives in the morning. 1 tank dives can be arranged for the afternoon. Night dives can also be arranged with a minimum of 4 divers. Some popular dive sites include: McDonalds, The Anchor, Amphitheater, The Tunnels, The Aquarium, and Black Forest. Expect to see lots of turtles, grouper, nurse sharks, barracuda, butterflyfish, corals, sponges, lobsters, conch, tuna, dolphins, and occasionally humpback whales. Attractions and Activities At Bohio Dive Resort you are located on the white sands of Pillory Beach. You can lounge on the beach or go kayaking, or sailing. Ike & Donkey Beach Bar is right on the beach and you have to be here Saturday night for the BBQ and music. January thru at least the end of March you can view humpback whales 400yrds off shore. The Guanahani Restaurant & Bar is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and has cuisine made fresh to order. Moreover, at Bohio Dive Resort you can also have high tea by the beach. The island can get busy when the cruise ships are in port. The largest Margaritaville in the world is down by the cruise ship terminal, but on the weekends, you can have the downtown area and national museum to yourself. You also have to do an excursion to Gibbs Cay to see the stingrays.
