InterContinental Moorea Resort & Spa Diving
TopDive is the onsite scuba diving center. They have several dive packages and 11 locations on 6 islands. If you want to dive as many islands as possible, you might like to begin with one of their 10-dive packages. On Mo’orea, they do 2 one-tank dives in the morning, and one afternoon dive. There are over 15 dive sites along the north coast near InterContinental Moorea. On the far western side we have
Taitea and
Tiki Point. On the far east side we have
Temae with white sands and garden eels. In between, are
Bali Hai Wall, Blue Island, Rotui, Eden Pass, Lemon Shark Valley, Canyons, Opunohu, and
Tao Toi.
Above all, if you are an advanced diver, you have to visit
Rose Gardens. This is a deep,120ft, plus drift dive. Moreover,
Aquarium is great for new divers. So, while at the InterContinental Moorea, expect to see canyons, walls, a grotto, passages, and coral reefs. Fish and reef life may be more abundant on Bora Bora, but the lemon sharks seem to be bigger here on Mo’orea, and at Tao Toi they have a sting ray feeding display.
Rays Corridor is a drift dive through the lagoon that you have to try.
