Sibonne Beach Hotel

About Sibonne Beach Hotel

You might say that Sibonne Beach Hotel was the original scuba diving resort on Grace Bay Beach on Providenciales Island in Turks and Caicos. In fact, at one time when it was called "Le Deck", it was the only hotel on the beach.  That's why they not only have such a secluded location, but the closest physical access location to Grace Bay beach than any other hotel built after them. So, they now have 30 guest rooms, but they have kept the same relaxed casual ambience similar to Poipu Beach Kauai, Hawaii in 1975.  It's because of this atmosphere that you want to book early as possible, as former guests return here quite frequently. So, Sibonne Beach Hotel has a few smaller value rooms, or the more spacious standard courtyard with patio, the balcony ocean view, premium front beach, or beach apartment. Sibonne Beach Hotel Diving

Dive Provo is one of the offsite scuba diving partner centers. The Dive shop is a short walk down Grace Bay Road at Ports of Call Plaza. Dive Provo has a large foot print with lots of dive gear for sale and equipment rentals. Moreover, they do one-tank, two-tank, and all day 3-tank boat dive excursions. On the 2 tank trips they serve snacks and fruit juice between dives. On the 3-tank trip they serve filled croissants or sandwiches after the second dive. Just a heads up, the 3-tank dive is for divers Nitrox certified: for the third dive depth/time nitrogen limits. Fortunately, you can get Nitrox certified, Open water trained, or other dive related certifications at Dive Provo while staying at Sibonne Beach Hotel.
Ocean Vibes is another partner dive operation and they specialize in small groups of 12 or less divers. They also have sailing, whale watching, and private Beach BBQ excursions. So, while staying at Sibonne Beach Hotel, you can dive canyons, walls, pinnacles, and coral reefs. Some popular dive sites you may wish to see include: Double D, Elephant Ear Canyon, Aquarium, Eagle Ray Pass, Shark Hotel, Amphitheater, and The Crack.

Attractions and Activities

Bay Bistro is Sibonne Beach Hotel's home restaurant. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. Moreover, Bay Bistro is ranked as one of the top restaurants on the island. Therefore, for dinner, you need your reservation in before 10am to enjoy fine dining next to the beach in the evening. Furthermore, Bay Bistro makes the best grilled lobster on the island. Junior's Bar has light food and seems to make the perfect drink to go with every sunset. More importantly, you are less than a 15-minute walk to down town Provo. So, you have a plethora of shops, bars, and restaurants to choose from as well. There is a minimart next door in one of the other resorts, and two large IGA markets on the island. So, the best snorkeling area of Grace bay is right off shore. The beach is also the perfect place to have a wedding.
