Young Island Resort Diving

Dive St. Vincent and Serenity Dive are the preferred scuba diving charter providers. So, both do dive packages such as five day of diving with 2- tank dives a day. Dive St. Vincent at Mariners Hotel is 200 yards across the waters on St. Vincent Island.  While staying at Young Island Resort you have to try the muck diving, which means macro photography diving or looking for small creatures such as shrimp and frogfish blending in with the coral and sand. The black volcanic sand at some dive sites make for some of the best and most stunning macro photography backgrounds. St. Vincent is considered the critter capital of the Caribbean. Frogfish, bat fish lizardfish, cowries, conch, and flamingo tongues are all waiting to model for you. Some of the local dive sites include Critter Corner, Orca Point, Pinnacle, Layou Wall, Coral Castle, Turtle Bay, Bat Cave, New Guineas Reef, and Bottle Reef. Not to mention the Capital Wrecks. Furthermore, the island of Canouan has soft corals, Mayreau has coral gardens, Bequi has seahorses, and Mustique is a great place to drift dive.

Attractions and Activities

Young Island Resort has an open-air thatched Restaurant. Lunch is a la carte, and dinner is 4 courses. Saturday is BBQ and buffet night. Sunday Lunch is Curry buffet. So, they also are home to the Captain Bligh Lounge and Bar. Above all, Young Island Resort is home to the most unique swim up bar.
