Ports of Call Resort is a scuba diving resort located on the island of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos. They have 98 suite rooms that come in 3 main styles. The 3-bedroom Villa is perfect for families that would like a 50” flat screen TV. They also have shared access to a plunge pool. 1-bedroom Apartments come with a full kitchen, and come with either a Garden View, Pool View. Ports of Call Resort Diving

Dive Provo is the onsite scuba diving center. The Dive shop is in the green building located directly across from Caribbean Beach’n and the giant map of Turks and Caicos on the side of the yellow building. Dive Provo has a large foot print with lots of dive gear for sale and equipment rentals. Moreover, they do one-tank, two-tank, and all day 3-tank boat dive excursions. You can dive canyons, walls, pinnacles, and coral reefs. So, on the 2 tank trips they serve snacks and fruit juice between dives. On the 3-tank trip they serve filled croissants or sandwiches after the second dive. Some popular dive sites you may wish to see while staying at Ports of Call Resort include: Double D, Elephant Ear Canyon, Aquarium, Eagle Ray Pass, Shark Hotel, Amphitheater, and The Crack. Just a heads up, the 3-tank dive is for divers Nitrox certified: for the third dive depth/time nitrogen limits. Fortunately, you can get Nitrox certified, Open water trained, or other dive related certifications at Dive Provo.

Attractions and Activities

Ports of Call Resort has four main restaurants and pool side bar. Via Veneto serves Italian food, Crackpot Kitchen cooks Caribbean style, Skull Rock is a Mexican Cantina, and Retreat Kitchen serves fresh fruit drinks along with organic and vegan food. Furthermore, at the Breakfast room fresh continental breakfast items are available complimentary each day. Giggles ice cream and candy parlor gets busy after lunch. Later in the day Jimmy’s Dive Bar becomes popular. So, the beach is some 300 yards from the resort, but for those that wish not to walk, a shuttle bus goes back and forth. Moreover, Ports of Call Resort has a designated beach area. Furthermore, the resort has a business center and meeting rooms.
