Cozumel Hotel & Resort Diving

Most scuba diving charters go out to Palancar Reef, which is part of the world's second largest barrier reef.  So, expect to see some 300 species of fish and over 100 types of corals. Stingrays, grouper, barracuda, turtles, nurse sharks, spiny lobsters, and eels are everywhere. From Hotel Cozumel you'll have the opportunity to do wall dives, explore pinnacles and tunnels. Best of all, many of the dives here at Palancar Reef are easy drift dives. The boat drops you off and then follows your bubbles until you surface. Because of this, Palancar Reef is a great place to introduce new divers, and yet still fun for experienced divers. Some of the popular dive site include: Santa Rosa, Al Cedrals, The Caves at Palancar Reef, San Francisco, La Francesa, the Bricks, and the Plane wreck. You can also dive at nearby Chankanaab National Marine Park.

Attractions and Activities

Dive Paradise scuba dive center is onsite of the Beach Club at Cozumel Hotel & Resort. So, shore diving is literally a few steps away. Dive packages may include two morning dives and one afternoon dive. There are 3 restaurants and 3 bars to choose from onsite. So, guests can either participate in the all-inclusive program or choose the European plan. There is a Kids Club for those 11 years and younger. They have the largest pool on the island. However, there are even more lounge chairs over at the Beach Club. So, from Cozumel Hotel it's an easy 10-minute stroll down town where you can find the Kaokao Chocolate Factory, and Dolphinaris.  In addition, American name brand restaurants are located down by the cruise ship terminal. It's a short drive up to the Mayan ruins at San Gervasio or take a trip down to Punta Sur Eco Park and lighthouse.
